It seems like yesterday when Kosta Cross called me and asked if he could shoot my number to Simo. I asked, “For what, and who is Simo?”, and Kosta replied, “Well, Simo is a producer and DJ, and I told him that if he wanted a lyricist and vocalist he’d better call you.” “Sure”, I said. A month passed and I hadn’t written a word, as I was still attempting to wrap my head around the beat. Shit! I’d better write something, I said to myself, and the day of our scheduled studio time six verses poured out of me; three of which made it to their new single ‘Proper Job’. It’s A collaborative production between Simo of Sleevin Records and Mancub of the San Francisco Space Cowboys (a Burning Man Tribe of musicians/DJ’s). Oh, and it’s free to download!!!
